Iron is an essential nutrient for aquatic plants and plays a vital role in chlorophyll production. Because plants cannot move iron from older leaves to new growth, deficiencies first appear as yellowing (chlorosis) of young leaves, pale new growth, and weak, slender stems. Seachem Flourish Iron quickly replenishes available iron, helping your plants maintain rich colour and vigorous growth. Unlike many iron supplements that use ferric iron (Fe³⁺), Flourish Iron contains ferrous gluconate (Fe²⁺), a more readily absorbed form that requires less energy for plants to utilise.

Directions

• Dose 5ml per 200 litres (50 US gallons), or as required to maintain approximately 0.10 mg/L of iron.

• For smaller aquariums, each cap thread holds approximately 1ml for accurate dosing.
