Fuzzy Fox Fish Xylivore Mix is a specialised, high-fibre sinking food formulated for wood-grazing and bottom-feeding catfish, including plecos, Panaque and other xylivorous species.

Made with cellulose, spirulina, pea protein and dried kelp, the formula provides the high fibre content associated with the diets of fish that naturally spend much of their time grazing wood, biofilm and plant material. Small pieces sink to the bottom of the aquarium, allowing bottom-dwelling fish to feed naturally and at their own pace.

Mixing Directions

Mix at a ratio of:

1 part powder to 2 parts boiling water

For example:

100ml powder + 200ml boiling water

Measure the desired amount of powder into a mixing container. Add twice the volume of boiling water and stir thoroughly with a fork until completely combined.

Place in the refrigerator and allow the mixture to set until firm. More or less water can be used to create a softer or firmer consistency depending on how you prefer to feed it.

Ingredients

Cellulose, spirulina, pea protein, dried kelp, lecithin, gelatine, xanthan, calcium propionate and potassium sorbate.

Also contains amino acids including glycine, proline, valine, hydroxyproline and glutamic acid, together with folate, iodine, salt, antioxidants, polyphenols and vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, C, E and K, phosphorus and magnesium.

Suitable For

Particularly suited to fish with a strong grazing or wood-feeding component to their diet, including plecos, Panaque and many L-number catfish. Fuzzy Fox also lists the formula for sucker fish, xylivores and Corydoras.
